Electrosmog In Our Homes

Low-Frequency Electrosmog (LF)

What are alternating electric fields and how do they arise?

Alternating electric fields always arise when voltage is present. The unit of measurement is V/m (volts per meter) and what is measured is, so to speak, the radiated field lines. These field lines can couple to the body and lead to increased body voltage.

If you sit on an electric blanket, for example, you can often measure voltages of many volts on your body. This is sometimes quite intense. If you then consider that virtually every cell in our body is an electromagnetic resonator and interacts with such fields, the effects on the organism cannot really be estimated.

What are alternating magnetic fields and how do they arise?

Magnetic alternating fields always occur when electricity flows. The unit of measurement is nT (nanotesla), or microtesla or gauss. The magnetic flux density is measured. These fields are generated by strong currents, such as high-voltage lines, traction current, ground wires, but also by the coil in an alarm clock radio or another capacitor. These fields are almost impossible to shield (except in small areas using a special MU metal) and can only be compensated for by biofield formation.

How can I protect myself from LF electromagnetic pollution?

It is often possible to minimize alternating electrical fields very effectively by using shielded cables, shielded lamps and shielded socket strips. Two-phase switchable wall sockets (simply plugged into a socket) can also help to completely disconnect bedside lamps, for example, from the power supply. Likewise, the radiating field lines can be absorbed by special materials or conductive paints, which are then grounded via a grounding wire through a power outlet. However, the danger here is that a grounding offered will attract field lines again that might not have caused any strain otherwise.

A frequently encountered “disimprovement” in practice is grounded bed sheets or grounded mattress pads. This is because the mostly unshielded cables in the walls may then find the quickest way to earth through the bed sheet – and thus directly through the sleeping person. You should always be very careful with such things, always check with a measuring device after shielding – or use a building biologist.

A very common problem with regard to electric alternating fields are bedside and desk lamps. In Germany, unfortunately, there is no standard for 2-phase switches (except for heating systems). Likewise, most lamps do not have a ground connection, but are only 2-pole.

This means that nothing is grounded across the board. Furthermore, this means that in the best case scenario, the current-carrying phase is switched, and the voltage at the switch is interrupted after switching off. In this case, the cable only “radiates” up to the switch. In the not-so-lucky case, the 0-conductor is switched, and the voltage is only disconnected on the way back from the lamp. In this case, the voltage passes the switch, through the entire lamp – and is often distributed by it like a transmitting antenna.

This is particularly extreme in the case of metal lamps from a Swedish furniture store, and it is not uncommon for me to measure field strengths of over 400 V/M when the lamp is switched off (!). The field then even minimizes when you switch on the lamp, because part of the electrical field is absorbed again by the alternating magnetic field that is then created.

The building biology standard is less than 1 V/m.

To protect yourself, you should either use shielded lamps (these are grounded and completely shielded from radiation), or at least use a simple AF measuring device to find out which way the plug has to be inserted into the socket to disconnect the current-carrying phase.

Electrical installations in the beds – in the form of built-in lamps, heatable under-ceiling lighting or similar – should be avoided at all costs. If such a thing is installed, I recommend disconnecting it from the power supply immediately. Similarly, a waterbed should be disconnected from the power supply at night. The fields generated by the heating are very high and cause the body a great deal of disturbance. The same applies to electrically adjustable bed frames, electric blankets, etc.

A television set should not be left on stand-by in the bedroom either; it should be disconnected completely from the mains supply using a remote-controlled socket when you go to bed. You should also not use electric underfloor heating.

Mains decoupler / mains isolator

Installing a mains decoupler in the fuse box allows the room (the bedroom) to be disconnected completely from the electricity supply as long as no consumer is active. A minimal DC control voltage then registers when, for example, a lamp is switched on, and immediately reactivates the circuit so that voltage is available again for consumers.

The disadvantage of a grid disconnector is that a biofield shaper that works via the circuit (e.g. to compensate for water veins or non-shieldable WLAN radiation from the neighborhood) may no longer work. A good biofield system also regulates the LF frequency values in the body, so my recommendation is to minimize internal exposure using the methods mentioned above, and then use a biofield-shaping module to balance the body in the remaining frequencies and to repair exposure captured from outside the home (e.g. LTE network, DECT at work, etc.) directly in the body.

How can I protect myself from low-frequency alternating magnetic fields?

As mentioned earlier, it is very difficult or even impossible to shield against alternating magnetic fields. You can make sure not to use a clock radio that can generate very strong fields due to the built-in coil – but if, for example, you live near a railroad track or have a high-voltage power line near your house, the only thing that will help is to move away or use a biofield shaper*.

A high-voltage power line still produces magnetic fields of many hundred nanotesla within a few hundred meters distance. With bioresonance, a strong NF load can always be measured in such cases due to the disturbance of certain regulatory frequencies in the body. A BIOGETA HOME Harmonizer directly balances these frequencies so that the body is not harmed. Often, symptoms such as restless sleep, night sweats and frequent trips to the toilet during the night quickly disappear.

He has been interested in radiesthesia, shamanism and bioenergetics for almost 30 years, after he had an “experience of the third kind” with an old dowsing couple at the age of 16, which fundamentally changed his previously purely scientific view of the world.

After running his own music recording studio for 10 years, a personal health problem finally led him to dowsing, technical building biology and writing his blog.

Sebastian has examined over 1500 sleeping areas throughout the German-speaking world in terms of building biology and bioenergetics and has developed various solutions to compensate for the often unshieldable or avoidable stress at the frequency level.
